My candidacy for the Klein ISD School Board of Trustees, Position #4, is driven by my deep belief in the transformative power of education and my commitment to serving our community. With 30 years of experience in recruiting and human resources, 24 years of military service, and my work supporting military families, I’ve learned how essential it is to create environments where people can thrive—especially our students. Having also served as a substitute teacher in Montgomery ISD and Conroe ISD, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that dedicated educators and supportive schools can have on a child's future.

I’m running because I see the potential in every student and believe that with the right resources, leadership, and commitment, we can build a school district where every child—no matter their background—has the opportunity to succeed. I envision a district where parents feel confident their children are safe and receiving the best education possible, and where educators feel valued and empowered to do their best work.

My “why” is rooted in creating a future where our schools are not only places of learning but environments where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. This vision fuels my determination to wake up every day and work tirelessly for our schools, students, and community.

Drawing on my extensive background in recruitment and HR, I want to collaborate with Klein ISD’s Human Resources department to ensure we have the best educators in our classrooms and the right staff supporting our students. My military service has instilled in me the importance of leadership, discipline, and teamwork, all of which I plan to bring to this role.

I understand firsthand the challenges that students face when the right resources and support aren’t available. When I dropped out of high school, those resources didn’t exist for me. However, I refused to let that define my future. Today, I hold three college degrees and will graduate in May 2025 from Texas A&M University with a degree in Executive Business Administration—my fourth degree. I truly believe that no matter where you begin, anything is possible if the resources are available for use.

This is why I’m asking for your support: Together, we can create a brighter future for all our children. I am committed to being a voice for our community, a champion for our students, and a leader who will work diligently to ensure our district thrives. It’s not just about what I’ve accomplished in the past—it’s about what we can achieve together for the future of Klein ISD.
