With 25 years of military service as a Command Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army, I have honed my leadership skills in high-pressure environments. My experience in leading diverse teams, making strategic decisions, and managing complex operations equips me to handle the challenges our school district faces.

Commitment to Education:

As an Executive MBA student at Texas A&M University, I understand the value of education and lifelong learning. My academic journey, combined with my experience in leadership training, enables me to appreciate both the challenges and opportunities in our educational system.

Advocate for Veterans and the Community:

I have a deep commitment to supporting Veterans and their families, demonstrated through my work with organizations like the Veterans Administration, the American Legion, and the VFW. This advocacy has sharpened my skills in building strong, supportive communities—skills I plan to bring to our schools.

Experience in Organizational Management:

In my role as Training Program Manager at United Airlines, I manage programs that impact the careers of employees. This experience has given me a solid foundation in organizational management, resource allocation, and strategic planning, all of which are crucial for effective school board governance.

As the HOA Board of Directors President for Inway Oaks Estates, I have demonstrated my commitment to transparency and accountability. I understand the importance of open communication and being responsive to the needs of the community, principles I will carry with me to the school board.
